1. Introduction

Options Copilot ("we," "our," or "us") provides options trading tracking and analysis tools through our Chrome extension, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

We take your privacy seriously. Your brokerage data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it for any purpose other than providing you with the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Credentials: Email address and password (hashed, never stored in plaintext).
• Brokerage Connection: We store a SnapTrade User ID and User Secret. We never receive, store, or have access to your brokerage username or password.
• Preferences: Display preferences, notification settings, and configuration choices.

2.2 Information We Receive from Your Brokerage (via SnapTrade)

• Account type, institution name, status, and balance
• Current holdings including ticker symbols, quantities, cost basis, and market values
• Historical transactions including trade dates, prices, quantities, and fees
• Options data: strike prices, expiration dates, option types, and contract quantities

We do not receive: your brokerage login credentials, Social Security number, bank account numbers, routing numbers, or personally identifiable financial account numbers.

2.3 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage patterns and features accessed
• Browser type and screen resolution (for UI rendering)
• Error logs and performance data

We do not collect IP addresses for tracking, use advertising cookies, or employ third-party analytics trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Service: fetch positions and trades, classify strategies, calculate performance metrics, generate AI analysis (with anonymized data sent to AWS Bedrock), improve reliability, and communicate critical updates.

We never sell your data, target advertising, train AI models on your data, or share with third parties beyond what's listed below.

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
• Brokerage tokens stored in AWS Secrets Manager with envelope encryption
• Non-custodial — we cannot move funds, place trades, or modify your account
• Chrome Extension (Local Mode): all data stored locally in Chrome's encrypted storage

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, delete, and export your data. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. European residents have additional rights under GDPR. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact privacy@optionscopilot.ai.
